Mom

My Mother is the kind of friend
that every child should have;
She's loved and helped throughout the years
with all the good and bad.

She's taught me what a Mother is
plus lots of other things;
She's taught me what to value most
like love, above all things.

I've learned a Mother's life is hard
you ache inside so much;
You must raise children firm and strong
but with a tender touch.

Yes, Mom, you've taught me many things
I thank you every day;
For raising me the way you did
in your own special way.


Not only on this day of days
that we celebrate each year;
My thoughts are with you every day
I love you, Mother Dear.
